Cadet uniforms will be worn on Tuesday regardless of the weather.

Such an excuse note will not necessarily be accepted as final and a doctor's certificate may be required. Should a sick note not be produced, cadets are to report to their squadron as normal.

Saluting

Cadets, when wearing berets, must salute all officers, members of the teaching staff and any adult in the school grounds. Saluting is the only proper form of greeting while wearing a beret.

Boots, hose-tops and white anklets will be worn by all officers and NCO’s. All other cadets will wear school shoes with rugby socks.
A Grey jersey may be worn over the cadet shirt, but during the cadet lesson it may not be worn. A T-shirt may be worn under the cadet shirt provided that no part of it is visible. No white jerseys may be worn on Cadet days.
A blazer must be worn to and from school.

Berets will not be worn outside the school grounds and only during cadets by those boys involved in the cadet curriculum.
Uniform will be worn throughout the normal school hours on a cadet day. Sportsmen and boarders are not permitted to change at break.
No tracksuits will be tolerated.

Extra Parade and Dress Parade

Officers, Student Officers, Warrant Officers and NCOs are entitled to put cadets on Extra Parade for any breach of discipline.
Extra Parade will be held on Friday afternoons for one hour on the Pollock Field (generally 14:00 -15:00) . It is the responsibility of the cadet to consult the cadet notice board to determine whether he has been placed on Extra Parade or not.
The Parade will be commanded by a Student Officer or Warrant-Officer, assisted by an NCO; these will be appointed by the RSM. Under no circumstances may an Extra Parade become a PT session.
The RSM will attend parades as frequently as possible and ensure that a high standard of discipline is maintained.
Any absentees from Extra parade will automatically report the reason for their absence to the RSM on the following Monday after assembly. Those cadets absent from school will be required to attend Extra parade the following week.
Cadets who infringe regulations concerning dress and hair length, can be placed on Dress Parade. This parade will be held at 14.00 on Fridays. The RSM or a Student Officer or Warrant Officer designated by him will inspect the defaulters.
Only the Office Commanding can excuse defaulters from these Parades.
Squadron Sergeant-Majors are responsible for collecting the names of defaulters from SOs and NCOs of their respective squadrons and handing these to the RSM by the end of cadets. The defaulters must be informed verbally that they are on Extra Parade and then a list of names of the defaulters must appear on the notice board at the latest Thursday morning before first break.
All defaulters must report to the RSM at the Mosenthal Pavilion at the end of school to ensure that they are familiar with their routine.
Rifles may be carried during Extra Parade. Only normal drill will be performed. Any lack of discipline must be reported to the Officer Commanding.
