Reading: A specialised computer-based reading programme Readers are Leaders allows students to improve their reading speed, levels of comprehension and spelling on an individual basis.
Listening: Students are encouraged to listen carefully to instructions and to each other to improve levels of participation and concentration.
Speaking: Small classes mean that there is always a high level of opportunity for all students to participate in discussions.
Language: Language structure and use is taught and frequently practised, so that grammar continues to improve and vocabulary to grow.
Writing: Language structure is applied in all written work: creative writing, comprehension answers and grammar exercises. Editing and self-correction are encouraged, but all exercises are ultimately checked by the AS Teacher.
