Daily Routine
Mondays – Fridays
| 06:10 | Rising Bell: All students to be out of bed by 06:20 |
| 06:30 | Out of showers bell |
| 06:39 | Warning bell: All students to get to their beds |
| 06:40 | Inspection bell: Students are to stand at the foot of their beds and wait to be inspected by the Prefect and Duty Master |
| 06:50 | Breakfast bell: Students are to make directly to the Dining Hall and to wait quietly for the Duty Master to say grace. Only then may students sit down and begin eating. |
| 07:20 | End of Breakfast: When the Senior Housemaster signals the end of breakfast the students are to finish eating and to move upstairs to finish ablutions and collect any clothes required for the morning session. |
| 07:40 | Leave Boarding House Bell: All students are to have left for school or are to be outside in the Covered Way when this bell rings. |
| 10:15 | Break Bell: Students return to the Boarding House for tea and to collect books for (Monday to Friday) the next school session. |
| 10:30 | Leave Hostel Bell: All students to be out of the Boarding House when the bell rings. |
| 14:10 | Lunch: All students are to move directly to the Dining Hall for lunch after the end of school. |
| 14:30 | End of Lunch: After lunch students may go upstairs to get changed for and to collect any items for the afternoon extramural session. |
| 14:50 | All dormitories will be locked at this time. No students are allowed upstairs except for prefects. |
| 16:30 | Dormitories open: Students may go upstairs and prepare for the evening session. |
| 17:15 | Shower Bell: Everyone may shower in the allocated blocks. |
| 17:45 | End Shower: Bell Everyone still in showers to finish and to return to the dormitories. Students are not to linger in the showers. |
| 18:00 | Dinner Bell: Everyone is to move to the Dining Hall and line up for Dinner. Students are not to linger in the building but are to move directly to the hall. |
| 18:39 | Warning Bell: Warning bell for the start of prep. |
| 18:45 | Prep Bell: First prep starts. |
| 19:30 | Prep Bell (Break): First prep ends. |

| 20:35 – 21:20 | Prep Bell: Second prep ends Tea for whole Boarding House |

| 22:10 | Senior silence bell: Grade 10,’s, 11’s and 12’s in bed No talking or getting out of bed |
| 22:30 | Lights out bell (All seniors in bed and silence.) No talking or whispering at all and no student out of bed for 45 minutes from silence bell. |

| 08:00 | Breakfast Bell: All students are to move directly to the dining hall and line up for breakfast |
| 08:30 – 12:55 | General town leave. Students may go downtown provided get permission and they peg out. |
| 12:55 | Lunch Bell: All students line up for lunch |
| 13:15 | End of lunch: Students may return to the dormitories until 13:30 when the dormitories are locked NOTE: If there are home sport fixtures students are expected to support these. If there are no home fixtures students may watch TV or make use of sports facilities on the premises. |
| 16:30 | Dormitories open: All students may return to the dormitories and prepare for the evening session. |
| 17:00 – 17:45 | Shower Bells: All students may shower |
| 18:00 | Supper Bell: All students are to move directly to the dining hall and line up for supper. |
| 18:30 | End of supper. Students may now watch TV or use other facilities with the permission of the Duty Master. Normal bed times, unless permission otherwise is granted by the Duty Master. |
Sunday
| 08:00 | Rising Bell: All students to be out of bed by 08:10 |
| 08:30 | Breakfast Bell: All students are to move directly to the Dining Hall and line up for breakfast. |
| 08:45 | End of breakfast |
| 09:00 | All students may go out on a Sunday to visit friends approved by their Senior Housemaster. Only students’ having exeats may leave the premises. Those who remain may be in the dormitories. NOTE: Students who go out on a Sunday must return to the Boarding House for normal shower times if they wish to shower. |
| 12:55 | Lunch Bell: All students move to the Dining Hall and line up for lunch. |
| Normal shower times at 17:20 – 17:30 | |
| 17:30 | All students wishing to go to church must eat at this time. The bus for church will leave at 17:45 |
| 17:45 | Roll-Call: Roll-call takes place in the senior prep room and all students are to report there. At the end of roll-call (18:00) all students will move to the dining hall and line up for supper. |
