The Grey Vision
Grey remains as one of the leading schools in the country, with a culture and value system that support its fine heritage. Grey is recognised for its competitiveness and excellence in academic, sporting and cultural activities, as well as for its ability to consistently produce leaders.
The Outdoors club was established at the beginning of 2002 after the abolishment of the school campsite, Sonop. The clubs activities are extremely flexible and the adventure destination is purely based on interest to any exciting and viable destination. Past excursions exclude; Eco Adventure Camps, Abseiling, Paintball, Touch Rugby Competitions, Canoe Trips, Game Drives, Sky Diving, Hikes and White Water Rafting to name but a few, yet the club is open to any ideas that might arise. The aim of the Outdoors Club is to encourage new friendships, form new bonds, and develop leadership skills that can only be experienced in the great Outdoors. The club does not meet on regular bases, instead will meet before each excursion.
